La Confluence red
Located between the Aygues and the Ouvèze, two rivers that follow each other without ever touching, the terroir of our Cairanne is enriched by the characteristics of each of these rivers, creating a confluence where none existed before.
After their vinification, we mature them in our cellars with the rest of the range in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Les cartes en main
Nature
At the confluence between the Aygues and the Ouveze, our Cairanne finds its freshness on the banks of the Aygues, benefiting from a light current of fresh air coming from the Pre-Alps. The stony terraces of the Ouvèze, near the warm terroirs of Rasteau, bring power to this wine. The hand of man
Cairanne is a demanding and very sunny terroir where the vigilance of the winegrower must be daily in order to avoid excesses which would harm the vine and the harvest.Character and potential
Powerful, racy and sunny wines with notes of very ripe fruit and the spices of the surrounding garrigue.Notre ambition
Vision
After several years of research on Cairanne, we have finally found the terroirs we were looking for. We are delighted that this very special Cru is finally joining our range !Profile
Beautiful garnet red, the blend of Grenache-Mouvèdre-Syrah-Carignan is fully expressed both on the nose and on the palate with notes of fig, prune, herbaceous and spicy touches with a pleasantly austere finish typical of Carignan.Tasting notes
‘In its youth, this fine gastronomic wine will express itself all the better if it is decanted 3 or 4 hours before serving.’Détails techniques
